HUNTINGTON – The Marshall University Athletics Hall of Fame committee has announced the 2017 class for induction into the Hall of Fame. This year’s class is the 37th class inducted since 1984’s first class, and there was one class of football and one class of basketball each in both 1985 and 1986, plus a special induction class of Marshall pro football players in the spring of 2010.
There are three former student-athletes who played football, three who played basketball (one of those athletes in the first two sports played both), and one each from baseball, volleyball, softball, and soccer.
