HUNTINGTON — To pick an all-time Marshall Football starting 22 (plus special teams) would be a daunting task at best, with many, many great players playing for the Thundering Herd between 1895 and today’s teams. There is also the problem of football being a one-platoon game, with limited substitution, from the early days of the game until a short period in the 1950s.
