Manchester United assistant manager Rui Faria has detailed the plan to give players more minutes on the pitch, beginning with the derby match against Manchester City in Houston.
Jose Mourinho's men are preparing for the first Manchester derby to be played on foreign soil, ahead of fixtures versus Real Madrid and Barcelona. Faria sees the match with Pep Guardiola's Blues as another important step forward for the players' fitness.
"Of course Manchester City is a different team to the teams we have played up to now, but in this moment of the season it's just one more preparation match where we'll try to get the best performance from the players.
