Alvaro Morata has cut short his honeymoon in Ibiza as he attempts to seal a move to Manchester United, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
AS report that the Real Madrid striker has spoken several times on the phone with United boss Jose Mourinho and is keen on reuniting with his former coach at the Bernabeu.
United boss Mourinho is an admirer of Morata and the club lodged a bid for his services last month as they attempt to add more firepower ahead of next season.
Morata had been in Ibiza with his now wife Alice Campello, who has reportedly remained on the Spanish island.
