Joey Barton insists any team finishing above Manchester United this season will be crowned Premier League champions.
The Red Devils have started the campaign in sensational style, winning both of their opening games by a 4-0 margin.
And Barton, who has played top-flight football in England for four different clubs, insists they are the team to beat.
“They haven’t played anybody yet they shouldn’t be expected to beat, but they’ve made an exceptional start,” he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.
