What has happened so far in January?
Manchester City's only arrival thus far in the January transfer window has been Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus. His £27m move from Palmeiras was agreed upon in the summer, but he stayed with the Sao Paolo club until the end of the Brazilian championship and led them to the league title.
There was some speculation over a move for a new defender with Bayern Munich's Holger Badstuber and Southampton's Virgil van Dijk linked with switches to the Etihad.
