Saturday saw Pep Guardiola’s men sucker punched three times on the counter attack as Chelsea beat them 3-1 in the Premier League.
The game-ending brawl has left a sour taste in the mouth and the Spaniard will want to wash it out with a palette cleansing victory against their Scottish opponents.
Guardiola must, though, do without the injured Vincent Kompany and the suspended Fernandinho, for Champions League indiscretions rather than those at the weekend.
