Shanghai Shenhua are closing in on a mega-money move for former Manchester City, Manchester United and West Ham star Carlos Tevez.
The striker is currently playing for his boyhood club Boca Juniors in Argentina but he now could be off to China.
Shanghai Shenhua, who are coached by former Sunderland boss Gus Poyet, are in negotiations with the player over a deal worth around £600,000-a-week.
And Shanghai president Wu Xiaohui has revealed that talks have progressed well after weeks of discussions.
"We have done a lot of work and it's safe to say that there has been a definite breakthrough in the negotiations," Wu told Shenhua News.
