Michigan football's Florida spring break practices weren't cheap

(Ralph Russo)

Michigan second-year football coach Jim Harbaugh doesn't win big -- meaning at least a Big Ten championship and berth in the College Football Playoff -- within his first five years, he should have no problem if the school felt like making a coaching change at that point.

That's because Michigan is investing a nice sum of money to adhere to Harbaugh's whims, wishes and ideas, such as his summer full of satellite camp appearances and taking the entire team to Florida during the school's spring break to stage practices.

It's thought that Harbaugh's satellite camp travel expenses the next two months will reach $1 million.
