Former LSU wide receiver Travin Dural could be the latest deep-ball threat to come out of his alma mater. Following the likes of Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr., Dural is expected to have an impressive showing in next week’s NFL Scouting Combine given his athletic prowess.
But it’s actually another SEC receiver, former Ole Miss standout Mike Wallace, that Dural is most similar to, according to former college football and NFL scout Chris Landry.
Landry writes, “LSU WR Travin Dural is drawing scouting comparisons to Mike Wallace. Dural’s speed is his biggest asset right now as he can take the top off a defense similarly to how Wallace did the same earlier in his career.
