LSU commitment Neil Farrell still ‘soaking everything in’ regarding recruiting

Three-star defensive tackle Neil Farrell committed to LSU in July and speaks highly of the school and the new coaching staff.

But that doesn’t mean he has shut down his recruitment; he still is considering Florida State and USC as well as LSU.

Farrell (6 feet 4, 295 pounds) attends Mobile (Ala.) Murphy. He is a top-45 defensive tackle prospect in the class of 2017.

“The facilities, the academics, the coaches, just everything about LSU I have loved since day one,” Farrell told GN. “They have always been there for me.”

Farrell stuck with his commitment to LSU after the firing of Les Miles because he is close with new coach Ed Orgeron.
