ATHENS, Ga. – Free throws in the final seconds doomed LSU Saturday night at Stegeman Coliseum as LSU fell to Georgia, 82-80.
LSU falls to 9-19 and 1-15 in the league. Georgia is now 17-12 and 8-8.
Antonio Blakeney led the team with 20 points, his sixth consecutive game of 20 points or more. Brandon Sampson did it all, scoring 15 points, grabbing six rebounds, and dishing out six assists. Skylar Mays had a good game also, scoring 15 points. Brian Bridgewater made a big contribution off the bench, scoring nine points and grabbing two rebounds.
