Grambling WR Chad Williams picked by Arizona in 4th round of NFL Draft

Grambling wide receiver Chad Williams, a Baton Rouge native, was selected by Arizona in the fourth round of the NFL Draft Friday.

Williams, considered by scouts a raw prospect, was taken in the compensatory round, the 98th player taken overall.

In 2016, he led the SWAC with 90 catches for 1,337 yards and 11 touchdowns and was named a second-team FCS All-American and first-team All-SWAC for Grambling's league championship team. Williams also was a first-team All-SWAC pick in 2015 with 64 catches for 1,012 yards and 10 TDs.

Against Arizona in 2016, he caught 13 passes for 152 yards.
