Less than two weeks after he announced he was leaving LSU, kicker Trent Domingue has found a new school.
Domingue announced Sunday on Twitter that he has “officially” transferred to Texas.
Domingue wrote July 13 on Twitter that he was leaving LSU after the school chose not to renew his scholarship for his fifth and final season of eligibility.
Last season, his first as a starter, Domingue, a former walk-on, converted 13 of 17 field goal attempts, including his first 10. The Mandeville, Louisiana native was named a Lou Groza semifinalist for his efforts.
