Former LSU DB signee Jeremy Cutrer signs UFA deal with Jacksonville

Former LSU signee Jeremy Cutrer signed a free agent deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars Saturday, NFL scout and analyst Chris Landry of Landryfootball.com reported.

Cutrer, a cornerback who played the last two seasons at Middle Tennessee State, signed with LSU out of Jewel Sumner High School in Kentwood in 2013 but failed to qualify academically. After attending Gulf Coast Junior College for two seasons he signed with LSU again, but failed to qualify again before enrolling at MTSU.

Cutrer, 6-feet-1 and 167 pounds, made 20 starts with the Blue Raiders and had six interceptions and 29 pass breakups .
