JACKSONVILLE — Rookie running back Leonard Fournette was held out of practice Sunday with what Jacksonville Jaguars coach Doug Marrone described as a foot injury, and he may sit out all week.
The Jaguars drafted the former LSU star with the fourth overall pick. Fournette carried nine times for 31 yards and a touchdown in Thursday night’s exhibition debut, a 31-24 win at New England. He practiced Saturday after the team had Friday off.
“Leonard has a foot injury and we’re just being real cautious with it,” Marrone said. “I think it’s been something that has been kind of growing.
