2019 RB Tyrion Davis is staying home, commits to LSU

LSU’s good luck on the recruiting trail extended into Monday with the news that four-star 2019 running back Tyrion Davis would stay home in Baton Rouge to play for the Tigers.

Davis (6 feet 1, 215 pounds), from Baton Rouge (La.) Southern University Lab School, made his announcement on Twitter.

Not surprisingly, LSU coach Ed Orgeron was pleased.

Davis received an offer from Alabama two weeks ago. He also has offers from Arizona State, Colorado and UAB.

Davis is the seventh commitment in LSU’s 2019 recruiting class.
