The Lions failed to make the playoffs this year as they finished their season 10-8 in the West Coast Conference behind the University of San Diego and Brigham Young University, the two top teams in conference.
“The University of Georgia is getting a quality coach and person in Tom Black,” LMU Athletic Director Bill Husak said as reported by lmulions.com. “He has transformed our program to expecting to be a West Coast Conference Champion and a NCAA tournament participant while also having the aspiration of becoming a national champion. We thank Tom for what he has accomplished at LMU, and we wish him and his family the very best.
