Speaking on the ACC teleconference, head coach Rick Pitino said that freshman V.J. King should be back for Wednesday’s game against the Tar Heels after sitting out this past Saturday when the Cards hosted Virginia Tech.
"It seems that way" that King will play at North Carolina, Pitino said on the ACC teleconference.
King missed last Saturday’s game due to a thigh bruise that he suffered during practice. King will add some needed depth to a team that, while it is still one of the best defensive units in the nation, tends to get in foul trouble at a higher rate than most other schools.
