Before the season started, it appears the Marshall game might quietly be one of the tougher games on Louisville’s schedule. Three weeks into the season, not so much. A week removed from being blown out by Akron, the Thundering Herd will host #3 Louisville and it will do so without starting quarterback Chase Litton.
After exiting the Akron game with concussion symptoms last week, Litton has been rumored to have not progressed enough to be cleared to play this week. Freshman Garet Morrell played the final few plays of the Akron game for Marshall in relief of Litton and is expected to get the start today.
