The defense has been the Louisville Cardinals’ calling card over the past three years. Consistently winning the battle in the trenches is often the formula for a great defense. After losing their best defensive lineman in Sheldon Rankins to graduation, DeAngelo Brown now looks to fill his void.
Originally a three-star recruit out of high school, Brown has developed into one of the Cards’ most influential players. Brown had career highs in tackles, tackles for loss, and sacks last season.
