Louisville earns No. 3 overall seed for 2015 NCAA baseball tournament

The Louisville baseball team will begin the road back to Omaha on Friday night as the NCAA Tournament's No. 3 overall seed. It's just the second time the Cards have earned a national seed in the big dance, as U of L was the tournament's No. 7 overall seed back in 2010.

Dan McDonnell and company will begin postseason play against Ohio Valley champion Morehead State Friday at  6 p.m. The region's No. 2 seed, Bradley (35-19), and third-seeded Michigan (37-23) will meet in the regional's first game on Friday at 2 p.m.

The winner of the Louisville regional will advance to face the winner of the Fullerton regional in the best-of-3 supers.
