In the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams used the 117th pick on wide receiver Pharoh Cooper following an impressive career at South Carolina. On Sunday,Cooper was one of many alumni fired up over watching his former school’s basketball make history after the Gamecocks reached the Final Four for the first time following an impressive Elite 8 win over the Florida Gators.
Prior to Sunday’s big game, Cooper was already making headlines after joking with Steve Spurrier over who he was going to cheer for since he used to be the head coach for both schools.
