— When playing an NFL game, it’s hard to keep track of big-picture events that may or may not be going on. That’s exactly what happened on Sunday when quarterback Case Keenum set a new franchise record for consecutive completions against Detroit.
“Nobody knew how well he was doing until after the game and we found out he completed 19 straight,” offensive lineman Rodger Saffold said Wednesday. “He didn’t even know it, and he’s the one throwing them.”
“I think he was just in a rhythm,” tight end Lance Kendricks said.
