Jeff Fisher, approaching loss record: 'I look at it as half-full'

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- Los Angeles Rams coach Jeff Fisher sits on the proverbial doorstep of history, the type he wants absolutely nothing to do with.

One more loss, and Fisher will have 165 for his career, tying Dan Reeves for the NFL record. If it happens Sunday, at home against the Atlanta Falcons and their lethal offense, Fisher will reach the mark with a career winning percentage of .512. None of the other coaches within the top 10 in losses got there with a winning percentage less than .531. Four of those top 10 -- Tom Landry, Don Shula, George Halas and Curly Lambeau -- are Hall of Famers who won more than 60 percent of their regular-season games.
