With no basketball to be played and training camp still a month away, the Los Angeles Lakers have been spending some time around the Chavez Ravine. Julius Randle was there earlier this summer, appearing to have a grand ol’ time watching the Dodgers, and new head coach Luke Walton tossed out the first pitch a few weeks ago.
On Saturday, Randle was back with his fellow lottery pick D’Angelo Russell for the Dodgers’ “Hollywood Stars” celebrity game, and the two weren’t there just to watch. Russell and Randle suited up for opposite teams in blue and white Dodger’s jerseys, and while Randle’s baseball aptitude is unknown, Russell has previously said that if he weren’t a basketball player he would’ve pursued baseball as a career.
