The offense got going in the third: The third quarter was a good one for the Lakers as they scored 37. Their field goal percentage was also crazy high which resulted in the high third quarter point total. This shows the potential of the offense when it really starts clicking.
D’Angelo’s play: D’Angelo played the first 14 minutes of the game and caught fire. Russell went 8/11 in the first half for an astounding 20 points. He cooled off after that and finished with 28 points but he looked a lot more confident running the offense.
