Sports books are putting up a fresh round of over/unders for NBA season win-totals with preseason underway, and Bovada has the Los Angeles Lakers at 29.5 victories. That's one game less than the New York Knicks (30.5), but still ahead of the Brooklyn Nets (27.5), Denver Nuggets (27.5), Minnesota Timberwolves (26.5), Portland Trail Blazers (26.5) and Philadelphia 76ers (21.5). The Lakers clearing 30 wins would be a step in the right direction after failing to do so in the previous two seasons, and while a nine-win increase over last season would be a big jump, in context the roster looks like it should be at least that much better than the '14-15 squad.
