Lakers News: Kobe Bryant returns to practice with "no restrictions"

In Lakers news today, Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant has reached the next step of rehabilitation process from his season-ending knee injury, returning to the Lakers' practice court early on Monday morning.

Per Mike Trudell of NBA.com,"upon returning to Los Angeles from a family trip to Europe, Kobe Bryant took the practice court at the team's facility at 7 a.m. for a two-hour basketball work out on Monday morning."

"According to team spokesman John Black, Bryant has "no restrictions other than what his body would limit him to do." The 18-year veteran can shoot, run and jump to whatever extent he so chooses," Trudell writes in an article posted Monday afternoon.

Bryant is now fully healed from the fracture "of the lateral tibial plateau of his left knee" which originally sidelined him on December 17th of last year. Bryant hyperextended the knee and the knee didn't recover as quickly as he or the team had hoped -- sidelining him for the entire season as of March 12th.

Kobe worked out with teammate Wesley Johnson on Monday morning, along with members of the Lakers' basketball operations staff.
