We are sad to report that Lakers Owner Jerry Buss died this morning at age 80.
After battling cancer for months, Buss finally passed away from kidney failure in the hospital.
Buss is famous for making the Lakers into one of the greatest franchises in all of sports. Since buying the Lakers, Buss won 10 championships with the Lakers and helped propel the careers of Magic Johnson, Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant.
Jerry is one of the most beloved figures in NBA history and will surely be missed for everything he has done for the game.
