Lakers News: Byron Scott Is Unsure If Xavier Henry Can Fully Come Back

During his two years with the Los Angeles Lakers, guard Xavier Henry has battled more than his share of injury problems.

Now, with Henry's current knee troubles proving problematic, head coach Byron Scott is unsure if he will ever get back to being the same player he once was.

"He’s not that explosive guy he used to be,” Scott said, via the Los Angeles Daily News' Mark Medina. “I don’t know if that will come back or not.”

“I loved his athleticism and the fact that he could attack the basket,” Scott added. “His relentlessness to attack the basket contributed to the injuries as well.”

According to Henry, he doesn't foresee himself changing his style anytime soon.

“I don’t think I have to adjust my game,” said Henry, who started his second D-League assignment on Saturday. “You can turn an ankle like this. For me, my strength is being able to go where I need to go using my power, speed and aggressiveness.”
