D'Angelo Russell impresses new Lakers teammates in first summer league practice

It took just one practice for Lakers' first-round draft pick D'Angelo Russell to impress his new teammates with his passing ability.

EL SEGUNDO – With just 14 minutes of official NBA action under his belt, Julius Randle still has more experience than most players on the Lakers’ summer roster.

But that doesn’t mean he was ready for D’Angelo Russell.

More to the point, he wasn’t ready for Russell’s famous passes, which the No. 2 pick in the draft was already making Monday during the Lakers' first practice before they head to the Las Vegas Summer League later this week.
