Look, we know, it's not the most prominent of the individual NHL awards. But the award given annually to "the forward who best excels in the defensive aspects of the game" is the one that Kopitar perennially has a shot at taking home. After finishing 9th, 9th, 4th, 2nd, and 3rd in the voting in the last five years, this is probably the best chance he's ever had to earn the honor.
