Los Angeles Kings Earning Medals at 2015 IIHF World Championships

The 2015 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships have come to an end.

Four Los Angeles Kings have earned medals representing their respective countries.

Jake Muzzin, Tyler Toffoli and Martin Jones all earned Gold medals when Canada defeated Russia 6-1 on Sunday night.

Jake Muzzin had an assist in the Gold medal game on Canada’s first goal by Cody Eakin.  Muzzin finished with 8 assists, 8 points, and a whopping +14 plus/minus rating.

Tyler Toffoli had 2 goals, 3 assists, 5 points, and a +9 rating over 10 games.

Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby became the 26th member of the Triple Gold Club (NHL players who have won a IIHF World Championship Gold medal, an Olympic Gold medal and a Stanley Cup).
