In a season that saw him sign his first professional contract, LA Galaxy II defender and former Academy Product Hugo Arellano made eight appearances for the Los Dos backline in 2016. Arellano made his first professional start in 2016 and was also called in for U.S. Youth Men’s National Team duties throughout the season.
How did you improve as a player in 2016?
“I think I improved all my attributes on the field a lot. It really helped me make the jump. Just learning from the older players and the watching guys play, even if I’m on the bench I’m watching my position…it all really helped me throughout the season.
