LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016) – LA Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos has been called up to the Mexican National Team for two October matches, the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol announced today. The Galaxy’s leading scorer this year will join his country for a match against New Zealand in Nashville on Oct. 8 before traveling to Bridgeview, Illinois for a game against Panama at Toyota Park on Oct. 11.
Dos Santos will depart following the Galaxy’s match Saturday against FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium (6 p.m. PT, Spectrum SportsNet, Spectrum Deportes).
