CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy general manager Pete Vagenas confirmed that discussions are ongoing with Jermaine Jones, but no agreement has been reached between the two sides.
Speaking at the 2017 MLS SuperDraft last Friday, Vagenas stated that the team is in talks with the 35-year-old midfielder who spent last season with the Colorado Rapids. Jones, who's rights were acquired by the Galaxy in December, is currently with the U.S. National Team for their annual January camp.
“We are talking to Jermaine Jones, but I won’t comment publicly,” General Manager Pete Vagenas said last Friday.
