Curt Onalfo says LA Galaxy "will prevail" despite Sebastian Lletget's lengthy injury | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy were dealt a major blow on Tuesday when Sebastian Lletget was ruled out for four to six months with a Lisfranc injury suffered during U.S. Men’s National Team World Cup Qualifier against Honduras.

Lletget was initially determined to be dealing with a left foot sprain, but after consultation with foot and ankle specialist Dr. Rachel Trichel, it was determined that the injury required surgery. The 24-year-old is scheduled to undergo surgery next week to correct the damage.

“We just wish him a speedy recovery. It’s a really difficult thing for the player to deal with when you have a significant injury at his age and in the great moment of his career,” LA Galaxy head coach Curt Onalfo told reporters.
