Scott Barlow has strong 2017 Triple-A debut

Scott Barlow pitched in to the seventh inning without allowing an earned run on Monday night in just his second Triple-A start ever. Barlow, promoted from Double-A Tulsa on Friday, allowed two unearned runs on four hits against the Memphis Redbirds (Cardinals), striking out five to earn the win.

Barlow, drafted by the Dodgers in the sixth round in 2011, last pitched in Triple-A in 2015, making a spot start for Oklahoma City. The right-hander was 5-3 with a 2.02 ERA in 14 starts with Tulsa, with 87 strikeouts and 29 walks in 75u2154 innings.
