Dodgers lineups: Trayce Thompson leaving his mark with Dodgers

Trayce Thompson is batting .333 against left-handed pitching.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- When Kyle Schwarber's home run in Game 4 of the Chicago Cubs' NL Division Series against the St. Louis Cardinals last October landed on the video board beyond the right-field bleachers, the Cubs left it there for awhile, going so far as to cover it with a plastic case.

Trayce Thompson's home run ball from the second inning of the Dodgers' 10-5 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays Tuesday night might have a longer shelf life.

Thompson's blast was only the sixth home run in Tropicana Field history to land on the C-ring catwalk high above the field and not come down.
