Dodgers get A-Gon back, option Segedin

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday reinstated first baseman Adrian Gonzalez (lumbar disc herniation) from the 60-day disabled list and optioned infielder/outfielder Rob Segedin to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Gonzalez went 6-for-31 with a homer and six RBI during a nine-game rehab assignment with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga and Triple-A Oklahoma City and last appeared in a big-league game on June 11. In 49 games with Los Angeles this season, he's hit .255 with 11 doubles, a homer and 23 RBI, and enters tonight's game just four hits shy of 2,000 for his career.
