Clayton Kershaw faces familiar foe in homestand finale

Clayton Kershaw (2-1) will take his turn on the mound today to try and help the Dodgers end their six-game losing streak. Kershaw, who took the loss last Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium, has not lost two straight home decisions since May 30, 2012.

Kershaw has a long history against the Padres, today will be his 29th career start against San Diego, no starting pitcher has more starts against the Padres since 2008, Kershaw's first season. The Dodgers have won his last eight starts against the Padres going back to September 21, 2012.
