This team has changed dramatically over the past year. There’s a new Centerfielder, Catcher, Shortstop and Second-baseman – sometimes there are 8 different faces in the lineup compared to last year, but one thing hasn’t changed, and that is the Manager and Coaching Staff. The Manager is a nice guy, sometimes nice guys finish last… especially if that are JUST nice, and not really smart! The Dodgers are having the same problems of situational hitting that they have had back to the time of Joe Torre and through Mattingly’s years here. It’s not always easy to prove it statistically, but the past three games where the Dodgers failed to score a single run, just demonstrates the problem.
