3 Reasons Why The Los Angeles Dodgers Can Win The World Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been one of the best teams in the major leagues again in 2015, but is this the year they can finally get over the hump? Here are 3 reasons why the Indians can win the World Series this year:

1) Adrian Gonzalez Is The NL MVP

Gonzalez’s stat line is just bananas: .345 AVG (#2 in MLB), .628 SLG (#2), 1.070 OPS (#2), 32 RBI (#2), and so on and so forth. Other than perhaps Nelson Cruz over in the American League, no hitter in all of Major League Baseball is locked into a zone like Gonzalez. He’s the straw that stirs the drink at Dodger Stadium and he’s roughly 1/4 of the way to the 2015 NL MVP award.

2) Weak NL West

Los Angeles has a comfortable lead in the division, and the San Francisco Giants are the only team that's really in striking distance. However, the Giants don't have the all-around game to really make a consistent push, meaning the Dodgers should be able to win the division by a wide margin.

3) The Dodgers Are The Most Complete Team In Baseball

While the Washington Nationals have battled inconsistency all season the long, the Los Angeles Dodgers have thrived in every facet of the game. Whether it’s the fireworks pop of the offense (54 HRs — best in MLB) or the next man up philosophy of the pitching staff (3.24 ERA — 4th in MLB),  this Dodgers team can beat you in a multitude of ways on any given day/night. It’s going to be fun to see how that translates to the dog days of summer, the stretch run, and so forth.
