PLAYA VISTA, Calif. – The full SI.com top 100 players of 2016 list has now been divulged, with the Clippers getting six players on the list and two in the top 10.
Chris Paul came in at No. 6 and Blake Griffin came in at No. 8, while DeAndre Jordan, Paul Pierce, J.J. Redick and Josh Smith had all found their ways onto the list previously. SI.com’s Ben Golliver and Rob Mahoney explained the reasoning for the placements with a description for each of the 100 picks.
“Given the wide variety of candidates involved and the deep analytical resources available, no single, definitive criterion was used to form this list,” they wrote.
