REPORT: Clippers Trying To Convince C DeAndre Jordan To Stay In L.A.

The Los Angeles Clippers aren't giving up on DeAndre Jordan just yet, as they are reportedly lobbying for an audience with the big man in hopes of getting him to reverse his decision to join the Dallas Mavericks in free agency.

Jordan announced his intention to sign a four-year, $80 million contract with the Mavs last week. However, all free agency agreements remain on hold until the league moratorium is lifted tomorrow. According to multiple outlets, Jordan is having second thoughts about leaving Los Angeles for Dallas, despite a reported rift with star Clippers guard Chris Paul:

Such a reversal would be extremely unique, especially considering that most teams cut contact with a free agent after he makes a decision to sign elsewhere. However, it appears anything is possible in this situation. Stay tuned.
