San Antonio Spurs will keep fouling Clippers' DeAndre Jordan -- and why not?

Malcolm Gladwell, the author who floats the no-kidding theory that constant repetition leads to greatness, has not met DeAndre Jordan.

The Clippers center is one of 13 NBA players who shot 400 or more free throws during the regular season. LeBron James’ 71-percent performance was the worst of the other 12. Jordan made 38.5 percent.

That is the second-worst figure in the league, edging Detroit’s Andre Drummond. Yet Jordan shot more free throws than all but four players.

Just think: If Jordan had hit two more foul shots per game, he would be a 74.5-percent foul shooter.
