Chargers NFL Draft Rumors: Everything You Need To Know Heading Into Draft Week

The 2015 NFL Draft is just a few days away, and there's plenty of reason to be excited about the festivities in Chicago if you're a San Diego Chargers fan. Here's our breakdown of everything Bolts fans need to know heading into draft week.

Brett Hundley Held Private Workout For San Diego

The San Diego Chargers hosted the standout UCLA QB earlier in the month, and with Philip Rivers' contract situation up in the air, it's very possible the Chargers could take a flyer on Hundley early in the draft.

Widely considered the third-best QB prospect in the draft behind Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston, Hundley has the physical tools to be a game-changer in this league if he can get his fundamentals in order.

Philip Rivers Trade In Play, #2 Pick?

If the Chargers are looking to swing a blockbuster trade with Rivers in the last year of his current deal, the Tennessee Titans could be an intriguing trade fit for the Bolts.

Per Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean, "the Titans surely would love to have Rivers. Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt was his offensive coordinator in 2013 in San Diego, and the two enjoyed success together. Rivers is from nearby Athens, Ala., so Nashville would be a good spot for his big family. His addition instantly would give a faceless team an identity."

You'd have to think the Titans' #2 pick would be in play for such a deal, but that's merely speculation at this point.

It may not be likely, but the threat of getting no compensation if/when Rivers leaves after the season could grease the wheels on a deal like this.
