The Los Angeles Angels are all finished with their Winter Meetings. It was rather uneventful, the Angels didn’t acquire the everyday second baseman, nor the starting pitcher they were looking for.
It’s not a bad thing that the Angels failed to strike a deal with any team. They checked on Justin Turner, they were linked to Chase Utley. They talked with San Diego about their abundance of infielders. They were also rumored to have inquired about Coco Crisp. However, that all appears to be here say at this point.
Still, the Angels being quiet during the Winter Meetings was a good thing.
