The Los Angeles Angels are beginning to name their starting pitchers for the first handful of spring training games. Yusmeiro Petit will start on Saturday vs the Milwaukee Brewers. Deolis Guerra will start on Sunday, Bud Norris will start on Monday, and J.C. Ramirez will start Tuesday.
Petit will face by Bret Suter. A 27-year old Harvard grad who throws left. Suter pitched in 14 games last season with the Brewers, finishing with an ERA of 3.32 and a WHIP of 1.38.
For tomorrow’s game, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register tweeted that Brooks Pounders, Deolis Guerra, and Jose Alvarez will likely see time on the mound.
